11 Months

Sweet Mia was 11 months in July. Her teeth started popping in last month and by this month she has 4. Typical to her sisters' same patterns she waited to get her teeth and then they came in fast and furious. None of our girls have been terribly fussy during teething time and Mia was no exception. She continues to say "Dada, Mama and Nana." She is a pretty easy going baby and rolls with the punches. She is still my little snuggle bug and loves on me whenever she can, which has been such a blessing to my Momma heart.

Got this great picture of her sucking her palm! This is her thing! Ellie took a paci until she chewed through them at about 2 1/2 and then just chucked them in the trash like it was no big deal. (She still sleeps with her monkey nightly, so that is her comfort.) Quinny sucks her two middle fingers on her left hand, or as she says she needs to "chewy them". Mia, true to form around here, is her own individual and sucks her palm. Everyone she comes into contact with thinks it is the cutest and most unique thing. She has always done it and it is her comfort. She does it when she is upset, when she is upset and when she goes down at night and for naps.
Such a sweet girl!

July 2015

I am almost caught up! I have set a goal to get to the end of August by the time Ellie starts school after Labor Day. July was a busy and fun month for us!

Happy 4th of July!! This was the best I got on the camera!
 We went to the parade...
 made some yummy treats...

 and went to the fireworks!

Seeing her first firework! (So glad I caught this!)

I always love watching the girls watching the fireworks, it is just as good for me as the fireworks. As we sat there, Ben reminded me how nice it was to be at the fireworks with all our girls and our complete family of 5!
We did sparklers for the first time! I always did these as a kid and my family set off many other fireworks, so it was great to introduce the girls to these.

We took Ben to see the Twins play the Orioles. It was his Father's Day gift. He loves the Orioles so we went at the beginning of July. We had a great time and it was our first Major League game together. I went to many growing up and loved it with my family and Ben has gone to some too, so I was excited to go together and with our girls. The girls were awesome and it was a great game! There were many home runs and the game went into an extra inning. The Twins won in the end, which was great for the hometown team, but not for Ben's Orioles.
We met Ellie's friend Miles and his mom and brother at their city pool and had a great time!
Sliding is serious business! Goggles are always needed!
Miles' mom, Jessie, took went down the slide with Ellie and the boys. Ellie conquered the green slide and once Jessie did it with her twice she was ready to go on her own!

Ellie wanted to make a portrait of Ben. So I set up the paint and paper and Ellie made sure to tell him how to pose!

 Quinn did her own masterpiece!

Completed Masterpiece! She got his hair perfect! She later added scenery.
Pizza is one of our favorites and making our own pizza is a must on the regular menu!
 Ellie's Pizza
 Quinny's Pizza
Ellie went to VBS this year! I am not sure I got any pictures, but the last night we went to the carnival and getting her face painted was all she could talk about! It was a must do! She had a great time with her friends and since Daddy was in charge she got to be in a group with some friends. While she was with her group and Ben was running the event, I helped with registration and then took Quinny on "Ventures" as she called them! We took Mia too, but they centered around things Quinny wanted to do. (Pics are on my phone, so I will post those later.) We had a BLAST! It was a great taste of what next year will be like while Ellie is in school!

Milestones

In June we also celebrated Ben on Father's Day and Mia hit 10 months. Ben got a nice relaxing afternoon and tickets for a future Twins game as well as some outside things to enjoy and we were able to celebrate him and all he does for our family.

Mia is also growing fast. She is getting around in her own way and in her own time. She loves to interact with her sisters and loves getting into all things possible. She puts nothing in her mouth, which is a blessing and a challenge. It is a blessing as the girls' toys are safe from consumption, but challenging as she won't put food in her mouth without help. She is cute as a button and loves saying Dada and says Momma when she wants things. She is definitely the baby and spoiled by all in this house, but her little giggles and smiles do us in every time! :)
