We had a wonderful and relaxing Christmas holiday! Our celebrating starts late Christmas Eve night as Ben works up until then, but with all that work and sacrifice of time comes a long restful break afterwards. We have enjoyed some great time as a family and Ben and I have been able to relax together before we enter his last semester of school, which is exciting beyond anything I can describe, but will also be a season of extreme busyness.
This Christmas the girls enjoyed celebrating Jesus' birthday. They also enjoyed looking forward to their visit from Santa and his reindeer. We enjoyed a service at church Christmas Eve night and then reading the Christmas story and opening our Christmas PJs. Christmas morning we enjoyed stockings, monkey bread, opening gifts and a wonderful Christmas meal.
This time of year was a wonderful time for us to pause and remember Christ
as well as to be refreshed. We are looking forward to a year full of many new adventures!
