Our Little Ballerina

Our sweet Ells took her first dance class this past week. We joined the Y when we moved here and this session of classes offered a preschool ballet class that introduces kids ages 3-5 to ballet basics. She took her first class last week and will do 7 classes total and will do a performance at the end that Ben and the girls will come and see. She LOVED it and all the girls are around her age. We are letting her try different things and then letting her pick what she likes to pursue further. So after 7 weeks we could jump into something else or we may be on the hunt for a dance studio for her to pursue dance further. So we have entered a new chapter in life of extra curricular activities!

 Second Position
 Practicing a Passe
Ribbon Free Dancing to the Frozen Soundtrack

They got to dance to a lot of Frozen songs, which is every girls' dream! Our little girl is growing up! She could not stop talking about all the fun she had! Watching her also reminded me of when I took ballet and I could actually remember the positions. I am so excited to get her out there and expose her to many things that she could develop a real love for and could give her opportunities or stir a passion in her that we don't know she has. The sky is the limit for her and I am so excited to watch her grow and explore new things and discover what she really loves! I told her later that it made me a little emotional as I watched her dance in her first class because she is growing up and I am so proud to be her Mom!

Half A Year

Wow! We can not believe our sweet Mia is already 6 month old! We have lived a lot of life since she was born and it has made her life fly by. She is one sweet baby! Our babies seemed to get sweeter and sweeter and more laid back each time as well. Other than being hungry she rarely gets that upset. In the evenings she has her witching hour and basically wants me to hold her, but it is short lived. She is doing great with her craniocap and physical therapy. She is now rolling from back to front, which she learned first, and front to back. She is eating solids around three times a day and will be working on her finger pinch this month so she can start eating her puffs. In many ways I want this time to go so slowly so I can soak in every minute of this sweet baby stage. So far out of all the girls she has been the one to be the most attached to me, by no means in a noticeable way that she does not easily go to others, but in a way that she prefers to snuggle me over others. She is the sweetest little addition and such a perfect piece to our little family!

 Her stats:
Weight: 12 lbs. 6 oz. (The 1.5%. We are good at making petite little girls!)
Height: 25 inches (The 15%. Following in Quinny's footsteps!)

So adorable! She loves her feet right now and her hands!

Big Day

This sweet little one got her craniocap, which she is tolerating quite well as she adjusts a little each day, and she continued to make growth at physical therapy with stretching her neck muscles.

And this sweet big one took her kindergarten screening test, a state law here, to see how well she is prepared. She did awesome and will register next week for kindergarten! She is getting so big!

Our sweet middle one can not be left out! She has been loving on her little sister as much as she can!
