33 Years Young

Last week we celebrated Ben's 33rd birthday. We went to dinner and had cake and opened presents. It was a low key evening, much like Ben enjoys. Ellie was so excited to give him his gifts and to have him see his cake. She did a great job of keeping all the secrets from him. I can never say enough about Ben and all he means to me and our family. He is an answer to prayer and is someone who challenges me daily to be a better person. We love all he is and wants to be. He is a wonderful husband and father and an amazing provider. He is a very hard worker and a man of the utmost integrity. We love you Ben! Happy Birthday!!

Life Lately.....

We have been enjoying some time at the park and some time playing at home. The temperatures are dropping and we are enjoying the change.

Got the keys and the phone, must be talking to Nana!

I often turn around and find images like this!

Ellie and her sling. I have been making baby slings for all our friends having babies and when I cut them to size there is always the perfect scrap left for Ellie to have a sling.

Quinn has to wear her heels too! She loves to wear Ellie's clip-clops as she calls them.

Playing the drums!

I came downstairs to find this. She had crawled on the couch, put on a headband, a bow and was lounging with her purse and phone talking to Nana.

Pumpkin Patch Adventures

This past Friday we went to the pumpkin patch to get our pumpkins. Ben's parents came into town for the day and we enjoyed having them along this year. Quinn had a great time riding in the wagon and taking care of her "friends". Ellie loved climbing the hay and pulling the wagon. She was obsessed with getting pumpkins and every time we turned around she had a different pumpkin in the wagon. They had lots of pumpkins to choose from and beautiful sunflowers growing this year. We had a great time at the patch and a great time visiting with Geep and Gran!

Sweet Words

Our little Quinny is learning some words and they are so sweet to hear. It is always so amazing to me how children are such little sponges and is what always drew me to teaching. Quinny will say or try to say anything we tell her to. Ellie loves to try and make her say things. Her favorite word right now is "Thank You". 99% of the time she uses it correctly and it is the sweetest sound to hear her using her words and being so polite.
