Spring 2016 Life Updates

Time to dust off the cobwebs yet again on our family blog and catch up on what has been happening! We have been busy with living life and school has kept us busy! Ben got me a fancy new camera for our 10 year anniversary and I am hoping to really learn how to use it and have a great time doing so. So, get ready for picture overload because these little ladies are quite the canvas!

Sweet Ellie is growing so fast!!
We dyed our eggs for Easter!

 Enjoyed Church on Easter Sunday!
 Got Easter Baskets...
 and hunted eggs!!

Ellie had her first Spring Break! We did stuff every day, but had so much fun, that I seemed to only take pictures one day. We went to the MIA to see the art, which Ellie loved on a field trip and wanted us to go. I love art and art museums and always have, and have kind of forgotten how much I love them. I really enjoyed going and so did all the girls! They were so good and they had a little scavenger hunt for them, which they loved. We are looking forward to going this summer too!
 We found the white dog!
Enjoyed Mother's Day with these three! They are such a blessing to me and have brought me such joy in tough days. The days can be hard and they challenge me, but they are also stretching me to be a better version of myself and I am so grateful that God has chosen me to be their mother.

This little lady dressed up for Farmer's Day at school!
I don't know when she became so big, but I am loving her at this age. We have challenges in molding her character, but she is the sweetest sister and sensitive and caring. She has the best personality and is the funniest little girl! She is just know at a great age for really diving into new experiences and she is willing to try new things and new foods and I am so excited we are at that point! The world is wide open to her and I want her to explore it with wide open eyes, confidence and the sweet spirit that she has!
We are working on doing our chores!
We are having playdates with new friends!

Little Miss Feisty is stealing leftover donuts from her sisters' plates!
We are exploring old and new parks!

 Riding our first rides!
 Building birdhouses!

Working on a never ending project! We got the girls a play set, but we are repairing and refinishing it. I am excited to be doing a project because I love projects, but the rain has slowed us down and now the store is out of stain, so we are hoping to get it done this month.
 Someone discovered dress up!
 After shots, you need CherryBerry!

We have been tasting donuts from Rita's! It is a new thing, but they make them to order!
Little Lady learned how to do the monkey bars!
After my bath, I found this!
Miss Ellie completed Kindergarten Sparks at Awana! She has always broken us in easy with school and memorizing things. She is more sensitive, which can be a challenge, but she is our rule follower and is very by the book. She has not struggled to do verses or learn. Next year Quinn is starting Cubbies, she is more of a free spirit. She is a tough cookie. We are hoping that learning her verses through song and dance will help her and encourage her to want to complete the task!

If her sisters are going to eat an apple this way so is she!
We had Mommy/Ellie time and rode some rides at Mall of America! Ellie rode her first roller coaster and LOVED it! I am so excited! I did not ride roller coasters until middle school and once I was forced on one I have never looked back. Ben is not a big roller coaster person, so I am so excited that I have a roller coaster buddy!
 Rode some more rides!
Mommy/Quinny time was all about frozen yogurt and playing at the park!
Just taking pictures with her sister's camera!
 Surprise park time after church!
Someone took their training wheels off! Her and Ben went to a flat area and he said she took off and didn't fall once. She still hasn't and this has opened up a whole new world! I am able to run while she rides and family bike rides are so much fun! Only problem, she wants to ride ALL THE TIME!! (Which means, Mom is getting lots of exercise, so it is not too bad!)
Sweet Quinny got a big girl bike with training wheels, which meant a getting a helmet! She insisted on wearing it home even with the tags!
Reading in the car is a favorite past time!
Mommy and Ellie cruising the open road!!
