Ellie sang some songs at the end of the year. She is the one on the end at the bottom with all the hair.

Last Day of Kindergarten!
They have a parade for all the 5th graders on the last day and all the other students cheer them on! Ellie is wearing the pink backpack next to her teacher in the pink pants.

Every child needs a summer memory of slipping and sliding! Growing up those were some of my favorite memories!

We also went to a man made lake. It is pool water but has a sandy bottom and no animals in it! The girls had a great time!

Safety First!
We visited the gardens and...
this little lady ended June by starting to help out more in the kitchen. My greatest memories are with my Mom in the kitchen. There is lots of learning that goes in there that is practical and also major life lessons and life discussions have happened with my own Mom in a kitchen. I am so lucky to get to be her Mom. She stretches me and challenges me and she is so much fun and so full of love. Moments like this make me so excited about the many more years in the kitchen we will have together!

I was so ready for this update!! It makes a Nana proud that sweet Mia is so safety conscious!(And she is adorable in a helmet!). Those dining room chairs can be dangerous!! ;-) She and Cooper will have to share his tricycle as it is just like hers! The rock fetish has been passed on and on and on. They have gotten good use out of the Granny Franny water table.
Precious Ellie has grown so and is long and lean like her mama was. She did such a good job in kindergarten and I know she'll love first grade and will do well. I am so happy for her riding skills ~ a great accomplishment. Yes, in this family you learn a lot working together in the kitchen. It is time well spent. Some of my best memories are wrapped up in the kitchen and hopefully will continue to be.
Quinny has always been the fashion queen. I think she comes by it naturally! Grandmary would be so proud!! She is so good with her little sister and I know she missed Ellie this year at school but she'll be starting soon. Oh my! She will do great and will love it. Their mom prepares them well. Her Hello Kitty bike is great and her fashion accessory of the helmet goes with it well! Nice choice.
Looks like summer (or just June!) has been fun! Can't wait to see all. Maybe it won't be too cold when you get here and we can hit all the parks here!!
