July and August brought fireworks and birthdays as well as many warm days. We soak in the warm days as the winters here are long and brutal.
4th of July Parade and Fireworks. Ben was sick so the girls and I were on our own. :(
We went to lots of splashpads...
did some cooking...
went to the Farmer's Market...
Ellie did a basketball camp...
Quinny did two sessions of swimming and got her blue band...
Mia and I had Mommy and Mia adventures during VBS (she is too young to go so we sneak in some special treats)...
had lots of lake days with friends...
did some exercise at the park...
watched fireworks again with Daddy...
went to the zoo...
did lots of arts and crafts...
enjoyed our mermaid blanket...
Quinny enjoyed playing in the rain...
we enjoyed as much time as we could in the water and in the sun...
and we ended the summer at the State Fair. We enjoyed rides and lots of yummy food and rode on the tallest ferris wheel in North America. Going up in the tallest ferris wheel in windy Minnesota was quite a challenge and you realized how much wind there was when you were stopped at the top.😟
