New and Old Christmas Traditions

We have been continuing and starting some traditions around here this holiday season. We started the season with going to the mountains to get our Christmas tree. It was a fun adventure and the girls were able to play in some snow. We also attended the Davidson Christmas Parade again this year and the girls had a great time! Ellie and I attempted our first Gingerbread House together and we had a family movie night watching "The Polar Express" and drinking hot chocolate and eating popcorn. We also went to see Santa and ride the train through the lights as we do every year and enjoyed seeing the lights again in McAdenville. It has been a busy season but one filled with many memories.

Buddy has also been visiting this month!

Santa! Quinny was not into it!
Ellie loved him! She said she didn't have anything she really wanted, so we told her that is the best kind of list because she will be surprised and happy with anything Santa brings. She has such a sweet heart!
The girls put on their jammies and we headed to McAdenville!

I laughed so hard at Buddy and his snow angel!!! That was good! I almost got a gingerbread kit before we came Thanksgiving. I actually went in the store to get two items, one was the kit, and came out with about ten items with no kit!!! Memory lapse.....;-) Glad the girls got to play in some snow!
