Christmas 2013

We had a wonderful and relaxing Christmas holiday! Our celebrating starts late Christmas Eve night as Ben works up until then, but with all that work and sacrifice of time comes a long restful break afterwards. We have enjoyed some great time as a family and Ben and I have been able to relax together before we enter his last semester of school, which is exciting beyond anything I can describe, but will also be a season of extreme busyness.

This Christmas the girls enjoyed celebrating Jesus' birthday. They also enjoyed looking forward to their visit from Santa and his reindeer. We enjoyed a service at church Christmas Eve night and then reading the Christmas story and opening our Christmas PJs. Christmas morning we enjoyed stockings, monkey bread, opening gifts and a wonderful Christmas meal.

This time of year was a wonderful time for us to pause and remember Christ as well as to be refreshed. We are looking forward to a year full of many new adventures!

Love Ellie's clip clops with her Kitty outfit from Granny Franny! And loved her dress like PopPop's pajamas! All the cookies look so good! Ben did a great job decorating them with the girls! I think you forgot to send us some. :-( Quinn looks like Christmas was a lot more interesting this year!I know it was an exciting time. I love the braids in their hair. Need to post Ellie's pics from her camera!
