Family Vacation 2017

This past August for our family vacation we went to the UP (Upper Peninsula) on the Wisconsin/Michigan border. It was an area with a ton of waterfalls, many of which were on family friendly hikes. We had a great time! Other than going to the beach it was our best vacation yet. The girls loved exploring and Mia was eager to keep up with her sisters. I only gave her a piggyback ride on a few steep spots, but other than that she held her own. The girls did great with minimal to no complaints on the hikes. All the falls were beautiful and we were the only ones on the trails for the most part. We are already talking about where we will go this year. We love adventures and we are trying to instill a sense of adventure and a desire to see the world around us in our girls. So far they love everything about going places and love learning about all the places we can travel as they get older!

Learning to skip rocks.

They loved wading in the water.

They discovered their tablets took great pictures and were quite the photographers.

Quinny was showing her first loose tooth. Ellie lost her first tooth on vacation 2 years ago.

The pictures are fantastic. Treasures for a lifetime. I really love the ones of Ben and Mia on the trail, Ells looking out over the landscape and precious Quinny and her smile (and of course you and the girls - my phone wallpaper)! These remind me of family trips with you and Andrew. We always had so much fun.
